This 1:12 mid-century modern chair is perfect your modern dollhouse or patio. Based on the famous Kangaroo Chairs, it features bold lines and a modern, sloping seat. Without cushions, the seat and back are slatted, making it perfect for patio scenes. With cushions, it's the perfect accent chair for your modern living room scene.

This listing is for the chair kit and the cushion kit. The cushion kit is no-sew. 

The chair kit portion is rated easy. It is made of basswood ply, so it can be painted or stained to bring out the woodgrain. You will need glue to complete the kit.

The cushion kit portion is rated intermediate. You will need glue, scissors, and an iron to complete the kit. See the last photo for color options. (Note: the color shown on your screen may be slightly different than the color in real life due to screen settings.)

FAQ

What tools do I need to finish the kits?

All of the kits need glue to complete--any kind that adheres to wood will work. (I use Aleene's Tacky Glue.) You may also need a craft knife, sandpaper or an emery board, and clamps or clips.

Is paint provided to make the kit look like the sample?

No, the kits do not include paint or stain. Any type of paint, stain, or marker that adheres to wood will work. For the samples, I used craft acrylic paints, artist acrylic paints, water-based washes, oil-based wood stain, and micron markers.

Will I be able to customize this?

Yes! All of the kits and components are made of basswood ply (except the boot tray, which is chipboard). While it requires some elbow grease, the wood can be be cut with multiple passes of a craft knife.
